1600x900 not available
My laptop is a Dell XPS-13 running CentOS 7.? It has a 13" 1920x1080
screen and it's a bit difficult for my mid-40s eyesight.? Fedora and
Debian, on this laptop, give me the option of choosing 1600x900 which is
much easier for me to read but CentOS doesn't show this resolution as
available.
I followed the steps I found in a post on stackexchange using xrandr,

ggridges help
yes, thanks, and I was getting close to that. One thing I found is the manual says the height is the distance above the y-line, which should be, but doesn't have to be positive. In fact, the time series are estimates of a cycle, and has negative values, which unfortunately are not included in my sub-sample. And the negative values are not handled properly (the series disappears for

Unpredictable EPS->PDF rotation (PR#4460)
Dear r-bugs,
When I create EPS files, they sometimes appear rotated in my LaTeX PDF
document and sometimes they don't. Two examples:
## x1.eps is not rotated in LaTeX
x <- seq(-1, 1, length=100)
postscript("c:/x1.eps", height=3, width=4,
horizontal=FALSE, onefile=FALSE, paper="special")
plot(x, dnorm(x), type="l")
dev.off()
## x2.eps is not

I don't know why it fails there or did fail there. But typically you can
use the -N option to specify the Guest account.
Your call must be:

Is there something wrong with R version 3.0.2 (2013-09-25) -- "Frisbee Sailing"?
Hi,
pnorm(-1.53,0,1) under version 3.0.2 gives 0.05155075. I am pretty sure it
should be 0.063. Is there something wrong with this version of R?
I am using:

ggridges help
The min_height = -0.25 is there to make it show cycle values down to -1/4.
You may want to change it to -1 so it shows more of the cycle values.

Windows 10 Client - Samba 3 Server - NT4 Style PDC
FWIW; I connected to the domain on the rolled back 1703 machine.
It wasn't connecting due to spelling errors on my end when setting
the various keys (Damn those post 40 eye/vision things - don't
get older kiddies).
Base on my experiences then, if you're connected to the NT4
style domain prior to the 1803 update, then you'll stay
connected. On all my 1803 machines, the domain

Help interpreting libarary(nnet) script output..URGENT
Hello,
I am pretty new to R. I am working on neural network classifiers and I am
feeding the nnet input from different regions of interest (fMRI data). The
script that I am using is this:
library (MASS)
heap_lda <-
data.frame(as.matrix(t(read.table(file="R_10_5runs_matrix9.txt")))*100000,syll
= c(rep("heap",3),rep("hoop",3),rep("hop",3)))

identify() doesn't return "true" numbers
Dear R community.
I am using the identify() function to identify outliers in my dataset.
This is the code I am using:

# Function to allow identifying points in the QQ plot (by mouseclicking)
qqInteractive <- function(..., IDENTIFY = TRUE)
{
qqplot(...) -> X
abline(a=0,b=1)
if(IDENTIFY) return(identify(X))

Asterisk -> Streaming Audio Bridge
Greetings,
Does anyone know of a tool that can act as a VoIP client and stream to a
streaming server such as shoutcast/icecast, etc.
I've got a client interested in doing basketball play by plays during
tourney season. They have * in place now and the bandwidth to burn for
streaming out. In the old world, I did an analog phone patch -> mixer ->
encoder -> streaming server. What

Sieve/autosubscribe subfolder
Hi,
I just ran across the annoying issue, that with
lda_mailbox_autocreate = yes
lda_mailbox_autosubscribe = yes
set, parent folders of newly created subfolders get subscribed without
being existent.
Let me give an example:
In sieve I use
fileinto "foo/bar";
but "foo/" does not exist as folder. So the Mailbox "foo/bar" gets
created, but without "foo/"
