3.0.24 lock not releasing when file is closed
Samba version 3.0.24-4 on a Fedora Core 5 box.
I've been working solidly on this for the last 2 days but don't seem to be
getting anywhere. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
I've found that once a file has been opened, smbstatus shows the file is
locked as expected (see below)
Locked files:

IMAP can't read inbox: istream_raw_mbox_get_body_size assertion failed
Yesterday, I upgraded my debian packages from 0.99.14 to 0.99.20050712-2. IMAP service has not been reliable since, and I was seeing crashes with one user.
I tried deleting the user's .subscriptions and .imap folders, and forcing the client (Mac OS X's Mail.app) to redownload everything, but that resulted in an empty inbox.
Here's what I have:
# dpkg -l dovecot*

libvirtd via unix socket using system uri
I want to run libvirtd as a special user, and allowing users that belong
to a special group to connect via qemu+unix:///system (eg: unix socket).
I did everything necessary to do so: created a libvirt user and group,
added the libvirt user to the kvm group, added my normal user to the
libvirt group, and made sure the socket is owned by libvirt:libvirt with
permissions set to 770.
libvirtd starts

How to create a coredump for Asterisk
Hi everybody,
sometimes we have an Asterisk-crash, but no clue why this is happening,
so I'm trying to make a coredump to analyse it.
I compiled Asterisk 1.4.20.1 on CentOS 5.4 i386 with "DEBUG_THREADS" and
"DONT_OPTIMIZE", then I start it with:
# /bin/bash /usr/sbin/safe_asterisk
This should do an "ulimit -c unlimited", but I entered it in the
terminal again.

Realtime and PostgreSQL
Has anyone had any luck with PostgreSQL and Realtime? The realtime
instructions on voip-info seem pretty straight forward... just not woking for
me. I've included all of my config files below, and my console output.
Entire console bootup output:
[root@abox asterisk]# /usr/sbin/asterisk -vvvvvvc

oops 2.2.19 ext3 0.0.6b prune_dcache
Hi,
i am seeing an oops (every couple of days) on a UP PII system with
SCSI disks, Kernel 2.2.19 and ext3 0.0.6b.
All oops output passed the klogd thus i cant anymore pipe it through
ksymoops - I ensured klogd got the correct System.map so the result
should be reliable.

Readline on R-1.9.1a
Hello! I'm trying to install R-1.9.1a with readline on Suse Linux. As
recommended in other posts, I've installed readline and readline-devel:
kevin@redtail:~/R-1.9.1> rpm -qa | grep readline
readline-devel-32bit-9.0-0
readline-32bit-9.0-0
readline-4.3-207
readline-devel-4.3-207
Then I run configure with readline:
./configure --with-readline
