"less than or equal to" glyph
If i insert \u2264 inside the text, like this
lsd_label <- "LSD (P \u2264 0.05) = "
the result is
"LSD (P = 0.05) = "
instead
"LSD (P ? 0.05) = "
how can i solve this problem?
Thanks.

1. I don't think the --backup rule should be perishable. If I delete
an entire directory from the source, I would expect the receiver to
back up the files inside and not discard the backups just

getting names of dimnames of xtabs into xtable latex output
In R, the output of xtabs displays the names of the dimnames. In the

Thanks for your help.

Try running 'iostat -xdmc 1'. Look for a single drive that has
substantially greater await than ~10msec. If all the drives

Complete newbie to R here. Just getting started reading manuals and
playing with data.
I've managed to successfully get my *.csv files into R, however I
have to use header=FALSE because the real header starts in line #2.
The file format looks like:

snmp-ups sends status "OL OB" on HP R3000 UPS with AF465A management card [UPDATE]
Further information on this issue, attn. Arnaud Quette:
Here is the result of a test I made a few days ago. I've pulled the
input plug on the UPS and watched the 3 critical OIDs through a MIB browser:
- 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.165.3.4.5.0 goes from 3 (OL) to 5 (OB)
(as expected => good)
- 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.165.3.7.3.0 stays at 1 (OB)
(=> seems meaningless)
- 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.165.3.7.4.0
