rattle()->RData->Explore->GGobi->>libggobi-0.dll--Error
Hello,
I am using R-2.4.1 with Rattle()
i load Rdata (ttData) which has 2columns and 66 rows
When i execute Explore under GGobi for visualization i am facing the
problem,
---- libggobi-0.dll not found
---libggobi-0.dll was not found.... reinstalling the application may
fix the problem
i try install.packages("rggobi") its been installed from CRAN however
when i use it from rattle()

problem installing R in Ubuntu 10.04 -HELP
I am running Ubuntu 10.04 (on a Windows machine with dual boot) and I having
a very hard time trying to recover from what I initially thought was a minor
problem. I was trying to install "rattle()" and it failed, and after that I
cannot get R to run AT ALL! I've tried multiple times to reinstall it with a
clean apt-get removal and install and nothing... I keep get the following

Dear Sir/Madam:
I'm currently running R 1.9.1 on a Mac OS 10.3. I have been able to
use it fine for a while now. But for some reason, it now crashes
each time I open it with the error: Fatal error: unable to restore
saved data in .Rdata
I read on the online help forum that I can just delete the bad
.Rdata file. But I cannot find it. I even tried to delete

Hello,
I am unable to start an R session by double-clicking on an existing
.RData file from the Windoze file explorer.
A dialogue appears with the message
"Fatal error: unable to restore saved data in .RData",
and I notice in the R Console the last few lines are:
"Loading required package: R2HTML
NULL
error in function () : unused argument(s) (1:43)"

Fatal error: unable to restore saved data in .RData --- no package called 'nlme'
I am using Windows XP and R 2.3.1.
During my lastest session I updated my packages and now when I try to start
R 2.3.1
I get the following error message:
Fatal error: unable to restore saved data in .RData in an error window and
Error in loadNamespace(name): there is no package called 'nlme' in the R
console.
I had been using nlme and lme4 when I updated my packages.

cant restore .Rdata
Hi Folks,
I loaded a couple of quite large data sets into an R session and then
quit (after saving the image). Now I get:
Error: a read error occured
Fatal error: unable to restore saved data
(remove .RData or increase memory)
after trying to start my R session using something like:
R --vsize XXX --nsize 1000000
For any value of XXX (I went up to 300 or 400, which is as high as I could
go.

On next start it still displays;

There is a file keeping the previous data on Linux

How about on Windows?

Windows 7/Rstudio/Rattle - rattle() Causes R Session to abort

I removed rattle then reinstalled then loaded then attempted to open rattle with rattle(). But each time I do that My R session in R studio aborts and restarts.

Rattle() GGobi()-Plots- How to save?
I am using R2.4.1 and using Rattle()
Rattle() --> Explore--> GGobi
I need to save the Scatter plot matrix in any type of image format.
But it save as *.xml file how can i reterive the *.xml into *.bmp or *.png?
I have tried the Export button in Rattle() not much options.
Need the group help

suggestions for debugging problem with a package
I am trying to resolve a problem I am having with running the rattle package on two different Windows 7 x64 systems. It appears to be a problem with my two specific systems, because others on Windows 7 x64 systems aren't complaining about this problem. Problem Installing/Uninstalling Rattle
Rattle won't install properly on my Windows 7 64 bit laptop.
Here is what I've tried:
I've followed the instructions here:

I had R installed already.
I downloaded the GTK+ packages, unzipped the 32 bit one into c:\gtkwin32.
I put c:\gtkwin32\bin in the system variables PATH.

Odd tcltk and Rattle interference on MS/Windows

Your guess is right. The event loop stuff is handled differently on Windows
than on Unix-like OSes. There is a hook, called tcl_do that is hard-coded
into the R Windows GUI. It is called whenever the console is idle. RGtk2 is
able to hook into that to process GTK+ events. The problem is that the two
packages replace each other's handler. So in this case tcltk is blocking
GTK+ from
