When I log in using the GUI it accepts my password and the mouse appears on a black screen, like it is preparing the desktop, but the desktop never appears. I can ssh into a remote machine. I can start X on that machine with startx How do I then start firefox on that machine (from the ssh prompt) and have it display on my machine in my office. I have a newly built drive with 5.2 fresh install (that I will be cloning shortly) in my DECtop and it is failing with X the same way the upgrade from 5.1 drive did (not too supprising there).
