Help with Reshaping from Wide to Long
I am trying to reshape data that are in the wide format into the long format.
The design is a repeated-measures design, which combined 3 levels of shape
(circle, square, triangle) with 3 levels of color (Blue, Red, Green), for a
total of 9 variables. The wide data look like this (sorry I couldn't get
the columns to line up quite right:

[LLVMdev] Benchmarking for automatic parallelization project

Do you mean auto-parallelization or auto-vectorization? If it's the latter, I
sugguest you find scientific or graphic applications. I don't think there is
auto-parallelization benchmark, however.

[LLVMdev] How to write a regression test case?
Hi Changcheng,
The question you ask seems to be a different topic from this thread.
If possible, I sugguest you lauch another thread so that people know
what you want to ask by looking at subject. Since you're working on C
backend, you may want to collaborate with Roel, who is working on C
backend, too [1].

reshaping a dataset for a network
dear all,
apologizes for bothering with a probably stupid question but I really
don' t know how to proceed.
I have a dataset which look like df
a <- c(1,2,3,4,4,4,5,5)
b <- c(11,7,4,9,8,3,12,4)
df <-cbind(a,b)
I would like to have one which looks like this:
a
1 11
2 7
3 4
4 9 8 3
5 12 4
a are vertex of a network, b the edges. In the data the lenght of a is
about 50000

Issues reshaping data
Hello All,
I'm having some trouble reshaping my data from wide to long format. I have
tried using both the reshape function and package. Although I haven't worked
much with the reshape function, I have found the reshape package useful and
intuitive for reshaping data from long to wide format. However, going the
other way has me stumped with this type of data. My data is set up, roughly,

reshaping list into a contingency table
Hi all,
I have been struggling with this problem for a few days.
I have a data table like this:
gene rpkm1 diff1 rpkm2 diff2
gene1 23 50 13 120
gene2 111 220 827 1200
gene3 75 998 71 910
And I want to re-format it so that, for each gene, I have a 2x2 contingency
table, such as:
gene rpkm diff
gene1 23 50
gene1 13 120
gene2 111 220
gene2 827

BIDI (Hebrew) Support
Hello,
I've looked for a BIDI HOW-TO, but did not find any.
I use wine-0.9.5, and run IE using ies4linux. It works great
including Hebrew showing Hebrew text correctly.
The problem is that I could not write any Hebrew
character... Whenever I type a character I get "?".
So I've looked at wine-bidi issues, and found that I need to
compile wine with icu library. I did! using

MS Office in Wine: Hebrew backwards
I must install MS Office in Wine on Ubuntu Linux. It installs fine,
but the Hebrew is backwards. Googling the problem led me to this
video, which illustrates the problem:

Does anyone know how to fix this? I am on a full UTF-8 Hebrew locale,
if that is relevant. I installed MS Office 2003 in English on Kubuntu
8.04. Thanks in advance.

How to use read.table with Hebrew column names ?
Hello dear R help group,
I am trying to read a .txt file, with Hebrew column names, while keeping the
column names looking well in R - but without success.
I uploaded an example file to:
http://www.talgalili.com/files/aa.txt
And am trying the command:
read.table("http://www.talgalili.com/files/aa.txt", header = T, sep = "\t")
This returns me with:
