The debian dom0 64 bits kernel crashes at boot time
Hi, I just wanted to give a bit of feedback here. i have tried the Xen amd64 kernel from the kernel team and it just crashes with a stack dump on my laptop (thinkpad t500, that is a quite new stuff but will be a common thing very soon I beleive). Then I have tried the kernel 2.6.27 from the Xen repository that you can find here: http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/linux-2.6.27-xen.hg It's

doveadm backup abort in imapc-client.c
I am using Dovecot 2.2.36 and I am trying to use doveadm backup to migrate email from Gmail to Dovecot. When I run doveadm backup, it goes for a while and then eventually hits an assertion error (I've tried this a few times now and it happens reliably). The assertion failure looks like this: dsync(evan at eklitzke.org): Panic: file imapc-client.c: line 179 (imapc_client_run_pre):

doveadm backup abort in imapc-client.c
"Reliably" means what exactly? - At progress of 66%? - after e.g. 9611 Mails? - whenever a specific Mail is touched? How to compile the debian xen kernel?
Hi! I would have love to participate in the dev of the Debian Xen kernel, as my company (GPLHost) is quite involved in Xen, Debian and hosting. I was quite happy to see that there is now support for dom0 kernel in Lenny. Now the only thing is that I didn't find the way you guys are using to compile the Debian Xen kernel, and didn't find any doc about it either. Where can I find such doc,

AUdio Meter Application results in Access Violation
I'm trying to run AudioMeter.exe, available for download at http://www.mydarc.de/dg8saq/AudioMeter/index.shtml It is a single executable which measures the sound card input as RMS values and displays them. When I try and run it under Wine, the program's main window (title bar and frame only) and its debug window (title bar and fame only) show up on the screen and I get a message box that

C6: Suspend on laptop close doesn't work
Hello, I've been running Fedora on my Lenovo X61s laptop for many (Fedora) generations. Fedora 15, however, was not my cup of tea, so I've decided to wipe out Fedora, and do a clean install of CentOS 6 (x86_64). Everything works OK, except that the laptop does not suspend when I close the lid. I've checked the settings in "Power Management", and it is set to suspend when

Monkey Island 2: Special Edition from Steam
I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 64bit on a Thinkpad T500, I believe I'm using the integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics that come with it. I'm using the default WINE install, I think version 1.1.42. I'm trying to run Monkey Island 2: Special Edition downloaded from Steam. It actually sort of works. It installed just fine. When I first ran it gave me a blank screen and that was it.

rsync and locking
Hello, I got an issue with rsync and (fcntl) locked files. When rsync tries to sync a file that is opened and locked by another process (that use fcntl write lock), it ends up in Disk Sleep. Then i need to reboot to remove that dead processes (let me now if there's another solution). Is there a way to force rsync to skip locked files ? Here are some facts: Hosts on which this issue has

Debian Lenny dom0 package on a Thinkpad t500
Hi, I''ve been trying to build dom0 and xen hypervisor package for my thinkpad laptop, but it''s not an easy task. Has anybody done that? Note that I''m not interested in running anything but Debian packages, I think it''s a too ugly setup otherwise, and I don''t want c**p on my laptop. murdering high-memory workers and auto-scaling
Two ideas, one more controversial than the other. First: auto-killing bloated workers.?My current app has some memory leakage that wasn''t really visible on our older passenger setup, since the auto-scaling meant that bloated workers got killed periodically. In a perfect world, we''d find and patch all of the leaks, but in the meantime (and as a safety net) I''d like to get

[LLVMdev] lli on cygwin - ERROR: Program used "some standard c" function which could not be found
I've tried using llvm 2.5 and svn version with both gcc3.4 and gcc-4.3.2. It apparently is not finding the most standard c functions. I suspect this may be because they might live in cygwin.dll. Ins there any to force static linking. Or is there any build recipies that might help? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[LLVMdev] ARM cross compiling causes segmentation fault
I tried a couple of options (-mcpu=arm1136j-s, -mcpu=arm1136jf-s, -march=armv6, ...) to let the compile know the specific ARM processor, but the same issue is still there. I tried to take a look at .s file in /tmp directory, but it's already cleaned up. Is it because I enabled the optimization option when I compiled llvm?
