Help on rKward
Hi,
I'm testing rKward and it's become a great GUI for R on linux, mainly
for new linux users. I'm not a new linux user and I use Emacs for my own
R's script. But I always try new GUIs or IDEs for to recommend to my
students. The most dificult for new R and Linux users is: I have
installed R on my linux but I dont found the R icon. This happen because

Implement VLIW Backend on LLVM (Assembler Related Questions)
Hello,
I want to implement LLVM backend for a specific VLIW hardware. I am working
on defining its instruction set, and assembly language.
The hardware has two pipelines, int and float. Each pipeline can do 3
operations/cycle, 3 operations forms an instruction.
One of the Integer Instruction looks like this:
add Ri, Rj, Rk; add Rl, Rm, Rn; add Ro, Rp, Rq

Additional output in cancor
Hi everyone,
Can I suggest an additional output component in cancor, from package
mva? It would be useful to have the number of canonical correlation
vectors, equivalently the rank of the covariance between x and y (label
"rank"). This would usually be min(dx, dy), where dx and dy have
already been computed for the svd function, but there might be
situations where it was less than

<= returns wrong result? Why
Dear all,
Does anybody know the probable reason why <= gives false when it should give
true?
These two variables are of the same type, and everything works in the cycle
but then it stops when they are equal.
this is the output result
> Rk[47] <= RB[21]
[1] FALSE
> Rk[47]
[1] 0.002842007
> RB[21]
[1] 0.002842007
Thanks a lot.

[RFC] Interprocedural MIR-level outlining pass
Hi Violeta,
I compiled with
clang -Oz and
clang -Oz -mno-red-zone for comparisons against Oz
and
clang -O0 and
clang -O0 -mno-red-zone for comparisons against a default clang.
I unfortunately don’t have the clang commit I worked with on my home laptop, and don’t have access to the computer I was using at Apple, so I can’t help you there.

Workaround for (EL6.4) rdesktop-1.6.0-10 Woe
rdesktop has been spewing error messages since the update to CentOS 6.4.
Aside from the continuous stream of errors in the terminal window from
which it was launched, there are a number of usability issues in the
remote session. The pointer does not change shape when moving over
various window components such as column separators, window borders,
etc. The background doesn't refresh within

problem with boot
Hello R-users,
I'm using the boot's library. I have two questions:
1. I execute for example
data<-rnorm(100)
boot(data,mean,500)
and I obtain 500 equal bootstrap samples of data. Why?
2. I need to calculate the bootstrap confidence intervals for a statistic,
but when I use the function boot.ci it shows the error message:

provides limited information.

Best way to extract values from an aov object ?
I'm trying to write a function to automate doing a variance analysis,
part of which involves doing some further calculations. The method I've
been using isn't very robust, if variable names change then it stops
working.

Vedant,
There are no entry values generated at -O0 level, but I will add a test case for it. Thanks.

Enabling debug entry value production by default
The actual DWARF emission for call site parameters is gated inside of DwarfDebug::constructCallSiteEntryDIEs by `tuneForGDB() || tuneForLLDB()`.
However, we are creating+updating CallSiteInfo (basically, in-memory only bookkeeping used by the backend to keep track of call sites) even when the debugger tuning is set to the Sony debugger. If this creates problems, feel free to file a bug and
