Want to create empty vectors inside a empty data frame
Hi All, I want to create empty vectors inside an empty data frame.The name of the vectors has to come dynamically. For example if record_mean is my empty data frame,and i have say 4 categories,the category names for record mean data frame has to recmeanC1,recmeanC2,recmeanC3,recmeanC4,which will be dynamically created and which will again be inserted in my data frame's as column values.Each

How to generate mean anova value row in anova table, instead of individual value for each predictor
Hi All , Can anybody tell me if there's any way to get the summarized anova values.Now i will explain what i mean , when i say "*summarized*". Below you can see the anova table of recmeanC1 with rest* all* i.e from recmeanC2 to i15(predictors),as shown in table. confint/nls
I have found some "issues" (bugs?) with nls confidence intervals ... some with the relatively new "port" algorithm, others more general (but possibly in the "well, don't do that" category). I have corresponded some with Prof. Ripley about them, but I thought I would just report how far I've gotten in case anyone else has thoughts. (I'm finding the code

nlme R vs S plus
Hi all, I'm a PhD student at sydney uni and am trying to run a non linear mixed model program to obtain estimates of parameters describing dairy cow lactation curves. At present, I have been able to get the data to converge using the S plus (S plus 2000) nlme function. However, when I put the same data into R (R 1.9.0), add in the nlme package and run the code, it does not converge by the

counting across leves of factors
I have dataframe with 17factors variables (for example every factor have 3levels) I have maybe 5000 observation. And i need to do table where is in every raw 1 of possible combination of this factors and the numbur how many time is this combination in my dataset. I wrote one code, but this is very slow and dumb. it looks like this: i<-0 for(i1 in levels(hivdat$pohl)){

Here is the code that I have, but it is giving me an error message "Warning message: In eval(expr, envir, enclos) : Negative parameter variances. Model may be underidentified." and a further error "Error in summary.objectiveML(cfa,

Troubleshooting underidentification issues in structural equation modelling (SEM)
Hi all, hope someone can help me out with this. Background Introduction I have a data set consisting of data collected from a questionnaire that I wish to validate. I have chosen to use confirmatory factor analysis to analyse this data set. Instrument The instrument consists of 11 subscales. There is a total of 68 items in the 11 subscales. Each item is scored on an integer scale between 1 to 4.

strata() in clogit()
How can I get the log odds associated with the levels in strata() within a clogit() model? I'm running R-1.9.0 on a Linux platform. I am using clogit() to run a Rasch model in Item Response Theory in psychometrics. Symbolically, the model is: logit(p_{j,k}) = \log({\Pr(p_{j,k}) \over \Pr(1-p_{j,k})}) = \theta_j - \alpha_k, That is, the log odds of answering an test item correctly is

Samba4 DNS: "recursion requested but not available"
Hello all, This is with Samba 4.0.0rc6 with the built-in DNS server. Found the problem in Samba 4.0.0rc5 originally, then updated to see if bug had been fixed between rc5 and rc6. I am trying to get mail working for a subdomain that is being managed by Samba 4. I added an MX record, but the problem here is that the Samba 4 DNS server isn't replying with the record:

[AMDGPU] non-hsa intrinsic with hsa target
Dear Developers, I compiled a OpenCL kernel before (on Nov. last year) like __kernel void g(__global float* array) { array[get_global_id(0)] = 1; } with libclc, which would originally use the instrinsics like llvm.r600.read.local.size.x(). I executed the generated object file with one version of the hsa-runtime [1] provided by Mr. Stellard, when there was more than one workgroup, the output

[AMDGPU] non-hsa intrinsic with hsa target
Hi Mr. Liu, Thanks for your quick reply. I compiled the code with the libclc_trunk and linked the bitcode file under $LIBCLC_DIR/built_libs/tahiti-amdgcn--.bc. After looking into the libclc, it is currently using the new workitem intrinsics (commit ba9858caa1e927a6fcc601e3466faa693835db5e). In the linked bitcode ($LIBCLC_DIR/built_libs/tahiti-amdgcn--.bc), it has the following code segment,
