Asterisk on 64bit ?
Hi, A'm about to set up a asterisk for 5000 users, and the customer had a 64bit server - can asterisk compile on that ? I will use a digium X100P for timing use will that do on a 64bit ? (I'm using SUSE91 kernel 2.6) What else ? Is it posible to have only one server for 5000 users ? I gues that it will be 5-700 sim. users only talking sip, and IAX2 to my PSTN-Gateway. The system is

average columns of data frame corresponding to replicates
Hi Group, I have a data frame below. Within this data frame there are samples (columns) that are measured more than once. Samples are indicated by "idx". So "id1" is present in columns 1, 3, and 5. Not every id is repeated. I would like to create a new data frame so that the repeated ids are averaged. For example, in the new data frame, columns 1, 3, and 5 of the original

Updates offered annoyance
Hi all, I downloaded latest CentOS 5.5 DVD i386 image from one of FTP's in a list. I've burned that image to DVD and created new DVD to use for fresh installations. Now when I install fresh CentOS 5.5 (in VM) I am getting info that there are 50 packages updates. This is ok when I have good internet speed (@work) but when I am home, this update takes a lot of time. I guess I can skip

Adding data to existing plot with new=TRUE does not appear to work
Dear all, I am trying to shove a number of cmdscale() results into a single plot (k=1 so I'm trying to get multiple columns in the plot). From ?par I learned that I can/should set new=TRUE in either par() or the plot function itself. However with the following reduced code, I get only a plot with a column of data points with x==2. plot(1,10, xlim=range(0,3), ylim=range(0,10),

boxplot and xlim confusion?
I have some code as shown below. Basically, I would like three boxplots to be set next to each other with no ylabels on the two "inner" plots, and I want the same x axis range on all three. However, it seems like boxplot does not respect the xlim setting. I've tried the various ways I thought would work (par, boxplot(...xlim=)) but none of them seem to work. I then tried plot.window,

Find each time a value changes
Dear List, I am trying to find each time a value changes in a dataset. The numbers are variables for day vs. night values, so what I am really getting is the daily sunrise and sunset. A simplified example is the following: x<-seq(1:100) y1<-rep(1,10) y2<-rep(2,10) y<-c(y1,y2,y1,y1,y1,y2,y1,y2,y1,y2) xy<-cbind(x,y) I would like to know each time the numbers change. Correct
