bargraph.CI change se for sd
Hi there, I am a beginner. I would like to change the error bars in the bargraph.CI function from the default (se) to (sd). The help file says ci.fun= function(x) c(fun(x)-se(x), fun(x)+se(x)) Is there a simple way of telling the function what (x) precisely is - I already define in in the of the bargraph.CI function and assume that is should be able to use that information. cheers, Herwig --

Error : unused arguments in pairs()
Hi there, I am just starting in R and this might be a very basic question. I applied one on the examples of pairs() to my own data. The examples shows scatter plots on one side of the matrix and the correlation coefficients on the other which works well. I then modified it slightly because I want different colors in the plots. Now i am getting the error of unused arguments, because the color

display p-values and significance levels
Hi there, I got a piece of code for the Iris data which allows to display correlation coefficients for each Iris species in the lower panel (color coded). I would now like to add e.g. a "*" to show the significance of each correlation next to the correlation coefficient. Furthermore I would like to make a t.test between the species "setosa" and "versicolor" for

revision control on maildir possible?
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to put a dovecot managed maildir under a vcs like system, for example git or bzr. I'd like to have a seamless history of all mail going in and out of my mailboxes, so a vcs like system seams a good choice for me. I'm not quite sure however if that would cause any problems to dovecot and what the best way of handling commits would be. If anyone on the

I installed wine-20010305-1.i386.rpm and then ran winesetup. When it got to Autodetect I got following message: Unable to detect any users on WinNT/2k partition mounted on /mnt/k. This means that this windows installation is probably

"Temporary authentication failure" ? Cant connect with ldap user
@Steffen Kaiser: Sorry I wrote that wrong. I did indeed *grep -v '^ *\(#.*\)\?$' dovecot-ldap.conf.ext* to get those results. @Bob Miller: And how would that look like? I added a auth_bind_userdn looking like this: *auth_bind_userdn = uid=%u,dc=[hostname],o=de* And restartet dovecot, no use. Any other ideas? "Temporary authentication failure" ? Cant connect with ldap user
The ldap-utils were already installed. I did the ldapsearch you gave me, but after inputting my admin password it gives me *ldap_bind: Invalid credentials (49)* I logged into the ldap server with my admin credentials (which worked fine) and changed my password to '12345', Trying that, still *Invalid credentials* . 1.) dendrogram branches with different lty
Dear r-list, I am trying to visually seperate the two main clusters of a dendrogram. The idea is to use: 'edgePar=list(lty=3)' for 'dend1[[1]]' and 'edgePar=list(lty=1)' for 'dend1[[2]]' I have not found a way to solve this. Any suggestions? Patrick hc <- hclust(dist(USArrests), "ave") (dend1 <- as.dendrogram(hc)) par(mfrow=c(2,2)) plot(dend1)
