Agile book depot question
I have been working on implementing a variant of the depot example as a method of learning rails. I have come up against a css question that is driving me nuts. This may not be the right forum to ask this question. If anyone would like to refer me to another place to ask, I would be grateful. Most of the code that I am working on is straight from the examples, with minor alterations. What is

Booting of bcdw from isolinux does not work anymore with 3.52 but works with 3.51
Hi I am having problems loading bcdw (http://bootcd.narod.ru) from the isolinux bootloader. I use this to load the acronis programs. It worked fine up till version 3.51 but does not work anymore with 3.52. Here is the code to load the second bootmanager label l kernel /bcdw/bcdwboot.bin Any insights to what might be wrong here? With 3.52 I get Error! Cannot load

ambisonics formats and channel mappings
Hi Opus list. I subscribed because your discussion on the IETF draft ("Ambisonics in an Ogg Opus Container") was mentioned on the sursound list. I tried Opus for ambisonics more than a year ago. It does works with uncoupled channels (I had to patch the encoder). I don't know what else could be done to optimize support for ambisonics, as I'm not a codec expert. So I think that

Adding drivers to NUT?
aehm.. the innards of nutdrv_qx are not exactly well documented (and vars have somewhat confusing names) -- my fault, sorry. This is another thing that has been on my todo list for a while... Briefly, at the moment, in nutdrv_qx, there are actually two kinds of subdrivers: - 'protocols', which are communication-type-agnostic (i.e. they do not fiddle with serial or USB operations, and are

Cisco 7941G-GE with Asterisk and CTPSEP odyssee
I have just got a Cisco 7941G and am experiencing the exact same problem (phone is requesting .tlv file from TFTP server and never asks for .cnf.xml file). The phone originally had SCCP on it, but I downloaded and flashed with the latest Cisco SIP image (8.4(3) released 2009-01-13). In reading your message below, it looks like you were going to try an incremental upgrade?did you have any

Adding drivers to NUT?
Dear Daniele, i understand perfectly, i'd like to explain you why we choosed to clone the blazer_usb driver: some of our devices uses Voltronic Q1 protocol and we tried the Krauler Subdriver (it was the one with the right "commands", Q1, F, etc.), but the issues were 2: - first: the Krauler Subdriver expects a different number of bytes in answer because in debug i see "Short

Will VoIP ITSP's be Next?
Will VoIP be Next? Telco's that provide Internet services to their customers are now trying to charge select companies for large volumes of content that pass over their network to their paying customers! What part of this "greed fest' makes any sense to you? Telco's sell DSL telling customers how much faster it is, how much they can do with Highspeed Internet connections and now

OK guys and gals ... can we please stop all the fighting? When technical questions are asked, they should be answered. I lot of people on this list have something that a lot of newbies need ... experience. So answering a question with "RTFM" or "JFGI" is not going to impart any of your experience ... which is one of the things they need and want. Also ... if someone attacks

Get configuration flags
Hello all. Not often do I ask a question myself, but here's one: How do I know which compile flags (and/or compiler toolkit) were used to build a wine binary that I may have? I'm asking this question because, somehow, my own compiled version of Wine can't run an application, even though binaries that I grabbed from packages for other distros do work: flawlessly, in fact. I can live

Where to get working esfq hash src ip?
Hi, It is exactly what I need except one thing. I don''t know exactly if my router is the right place to apply QoS policy. It has two network interfaces and both are 10Mbit/s. The slow part of the network is little bit more far. On their QoS we have 2Mbit and I want all our users to divide this bandwidth equally but also don''t want to unnecessarily restrain their bandwith and to
