Hello, I have a curious situation using hamachi.
Previously, I have used hamachi successfully.
Recently, logmein hamachi have reported changes in their product but
mostly account status and not technical AFAIK.
Notwithstanding, attempts to create a shorewall interface with a dash in
the name fails:
Missing or Invalid Interface name.
At the bash command line ifconfig dutifully returns the name of the
virtual interface in question with status: up.
I read all 7 or 8 GMANE references to hamachi but nothing that really
helped.
My question is a dash actually not OK for a virtual interface?
I have attempted to use a dash '-' creating a shorewall network
interface but this only evokes complaints from shorewall.
Here is the single shorewall log as found from shorewall show log after
invoking: service logmein-hamachi start.
