RC 1 is now ready for testing.
Problems Corrected:
1) The following error message has been corrected
FOREWARD_CLEAR_MARK=Yes requires MARK Target in your kernel
and iptables
has been corrected to read
FORWARD_CLEAR_MARK=Yes requires MARK Target in your kernel
and iptables
2) Corrected handling of empty parameter list in value of one of the
_DEFAULT options in shorewall.conf (e.g.,
REJECT_DEFAULT="Reject()".
3) The ''update'' command was updating the shorewall.conf
(shorewall6.conf) before verification of the configuration but it
was using the option settings from the original file. It now uses
the settings from the updated file.
4) Lots of cleanup of the documentation and the release notes.
Thank you for testing,
-Tom

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
