I''m trying to run a Mediatomb upnp media server in my dmz which is on a separate subnet from my lan, and I thought I should be able to get things running smoothly by following the guide from this page: http://www.shorewall.net/UPnP.html It wasn''t entirely clear to me whether I should be treating the dmz as the external interface or the internal interface -- but I''ve tried both and still nothing shows up to any upnp clients running on the lan. I''m using Debian squeeze with shorewall-perl 4.4.11 and linux-igd 1.0. Any thoughts of special tweaks I might need to make this work on an internal-to-internal subnet set up instead of WAN to internal (or vice versa)? What I ended up doing (I''m not now as I don''t need it anymore), was to samba mount the media directory on the firewall box itself then had Mediatomb running on the box bound to the interface for the subnet I wanted to be able to see it. It worked fairly well the little I tested it (except for the glitches in mediatomb itself).> Thanks, > > Seth GreenMark II -- Mark D.
