Shorewall users - Jul 2009 - Shorewall and NIC bonding

Hi everybody,

I think this question is answered somewhere, but I can''t find it right
now.

I do have a shorewall firewall with a couple of NICs, but for now all
nics are used separately; e.g. eth0 to the ISP, eth1 to DMZ-1, eth2 to
DMZ-2.

Now I''d like to bound two interfaces to the local lan.

This will be e.g. bond0 from eth3 (current local NIC) and eth4
(new/spare NIC).

My question: may I "only" change eth3 to bond0 in the shorewall config
or do I have to change something else as well?

Thanks for any hints or tips or links to the docs.

You may only change eth3 to bond0 in shorewall config and it will work.
