How to hack so that I can browse it like normal. TIA.If you are able to reach the server, your Shorewall configuration is correct. Does the site use name-based virtual hosting? If so, you will need to supply a DNS name that is configured in the server to your browser rather than the IP address of the Shorewall box. You can test that by temporarily adding an entry to /etc/hosts on the system from which you are trying to browse. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather who Shoreline, \ died peacefully in his sleep. PLEASE KEEP THE DISCUSSION ON THE LIST -- I''m not your private networking help desk. sangprabv wrote:> Can you explain it in general user mean? And what is the solution? TIA >a) I can''t see the server''s configuration. b) I can''t monitor network traffic on the server. c) I can''t monitor network traffic between your system and the server. So it is impossible to troubleshoot the problem from where I''m sitting. Furthermore: a) The owner of the site is apparently restricting access by IP address. b) You are trying to circumvent the owner''s restrictions by allowing access from the internet in general. So I''m not inclined to help you even if I knew what was wrong. Given what is coming back from an html GET / request, it''s hard to know what system/application is actually being connected to. Can you confirm with the owner of the target web site that redirected requests are actually reaching his web server? -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather who Shoreline, \ died peacefully in his sleep.
