I have two systems with multiple interfaces; both are running Centos 5.2. They are both running shorewall 4.0.12 for IPv4 traffic management. But both also have IPv6 traffic. I want the boxes protected for access from IPv6 traffic, but to forward IPv6 traffic, as they are both set up for static routing. Thing is, my ip6tables blocks all forwarded traffic, and I have to stop ipv6tables to get anything other than icmp6 forwarded. I really don''t want to build a FC9 system with multiple interfaces just to see what I would need in a couple of rules to handle the forwarding. One system has eth1 and ppp0. The other system has eth0 and a bunch of vlans on eth1. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H
