Hi, I am running Shorewall shell version 4.0.12 on my CentOS installation. It was installed using "yum" ; however it is pretty old version and I want to upgrade it to the latest version. Unfortunately when I search the repositories with "yum search shorewall" I can''t find anything newer than 4.0.12 Is there a CentOS repository where I can find new version of Shorewall ? Otherwise, what would you recommend me to do for easy installation of new version while not losing all previous settings and standart startup scripts etc. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer''s challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/

If you aren''t having any problems with it, there is no reason that you should need to upgrade. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of Shoreline, \ folly is to fill the world with fools. Latest stable is only 4.0.14. I don''t know of a yum repository that includes shorewall, but Simon Matter''s RPMs (linked from the main download page) work fine on CentOS: http://www.invoca.ch/pub/packages/shorewall/4.0/ Cheers, Gavin ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer''s challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/
