Hi, I''m using Debian testing with -Shorewall 3.2.6 -Linux-IGD 0.cvs20060201-1.1 -libupnp 1.2.1-2 Actually, if I leave upnpd.conf *untouched* (or at most modifying upstream and bitstram rate) UPnP seems to work properly (fast file transfers). Instead, if I modify upnpd.conf following the guide by changing: prerouting_chain_name = UPnP (former PREROUTING) forward_chain_name = forwardUPnP (former FORWARD) doens''t work anymore (file transfers very slow) Is it the guide wrong, or there is something wrong with my setup? We don''t have enough information to even guess. I would like to see the output of "shorewall dump" captured as described in the support guidelines (with prerouting_chain_name - UPnP). -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool Shoreline, \ http://shorewall.net Washington USA \ teastep@shorewall.net PGP Public Key \ https://lists.shorewall.net/teastep.pgp.key ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. I''m attaching you my shorewall dump done after having modified upnpd.conf as suggested in the guide. All incoming connection requests on your Internet interface will go through both the FORWARD chain and the UPnP chain. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool Shoreline, \ http://shorewall.net Washington USA \ teastep@shorewall.net PGP Public Key \ https://lists.shorewall.net/teastep.pgp.key ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
