No.

Only if layer7 becomes part of the standard Linux kernels. I don''t have
the time
or interest any more to compile custom kernels to develop support for features
that are not available in standard kernels from either SuSE or Ubuntu.
Note that by using actions with extension scripts though, you can integrate
layer 7 with Shorewall yourself. See
