Shorewall users - Aug 2006 - drop policy

Hi

actually, when my shorewall can''t start correctly
(for a error in conf for sample) he put all
packet at Drop.

Can i said that he accept ssh connexion when
he have a error ?

Before restarting, and to validate your modification,  you can use the
command line :

shorewall check

You can use this file 
vi /etc/shorewall/routestopped

and put a line like :

#INTERFACE      HOST(S)                 OPTIONS
eth0   IP1,IP2
eth1    192.168.9.0/24

IP1 and IP2 are your public remote IP
192.168.9.0/24 your internal network for example

You may also find the ADMINISABSENTMINDED=Yes option in shorewall.conf
helpful.
