Hey gang, The advice on setting up NFS to run on static ports and the accompanying rules to secure it using Shorewall at this address seems great: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php? thread_id=8972145&forum_id=2270 Only thing is I''m running Debian and so I don''t have an /etc/ sysconfig/nfs file. Any idea how I should set this up on Debian? I''ve googled about but can''t seem to find sensible advice on doing this. With those files I do indeed seem to be able to set up params for statd and mountd, allowing those to get -p <portnum> settings. The missing bit of the picture would seem to be a way to set the lockd port... I can''t seem to find an option to do that anywhere. Not knowing a great deal about NFS I''m not sure this is important...
