Greetings to all of the Shorewall community! We''d like to find out a little more about the environments in which Shorewall runs, and to this end i''ve created a survey. It is mostly designed to allow Shorewall users to see how their environment compares with that of the average Shorewall user (if such a thing exists!), but the results may be used by the Shorewall team to assist in future decisions. You can access the survey at: http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB2253NNBCN44 In accordance with Zoomerang basic account limits, the survey is open for 10 days, and is limited to 100 responses. If you would like to help us gain more comprehensive results by donating towards an account upgrade, please contact me. (The cost of a 1 month subscription to Zoomerang zPro is US$75.) If we raise sufficient funds to upgrade, these limits will not apply. Thanks to everyone who has beta tested this survey. Beta testers, please fill in this final version as well, so that we can collate all of the results in one place. -- Paul <http://paulgear.webhop.net> -- This message is signed with a GNU Privacy Guard cryptographic signature. I have closed the primary survey now, since we have reached 100 responses. I hope to be collating the results and publishing my analysis in the next week or so. If you''d still like to submit information about your Shorewall system (or another Shorewall system, if you''ve already responded), please use this link, which is a duplicate of the original survey, with a couple of minor corrections: http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB2253XADHWMU Regards, Paul

Please note that the survey has been reopened for use and your contributions at the above URL are welcomed. -- Paul <http://paulgear.webhop.net> -- Did you know? Most email-borne viruses use a false sender address, so you cannot track down the sender using that address. Instead, keep your virus scanning software up-to-date and just delete any suspicious emails you receive.

If you skip these questions, this will help the survey to be more accurate. -- Paul <http://paulgear.webhop.net> -- Did you know? Email viruses spread using addresses they find on the host computer. You can help to reduce the spread of these viruses by using Bcc: instead of To: on mass mailings, or using mailing list software such as GNU Mailman (http://www.list.org/) instead.
