Hi Mat,
as I understood from your ascii-art my setup is almost exactly what you
are trying to set up.
You''ll find a quick ''n dirty graphic of my setup at
http://www.adminguru.org/Xen-MyWay.pdf
Grub''s menu.lst:
title SUSE LINUX 9.3 XEN
kernel (hd0,0)/boot/xen.gz showopts vga=0x346
physdev_dom0_hide=(00:0f.0)(00:0e.0)(00:10.0) dom0_mem=257336
module (hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz-xen root=/dev/hda1 selinux=0
module (hd0,0)/boot/initrd-xen
Attached files are:
A quickly hacked extended network script for a second automatic bridge
configuration:
/etc/xen/scripts/network
My domU configs
/etc/xen/auto/fire
/etc/xen/auto/www
Network config files the SuSE-way:
/etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-br0
/etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-br1
That should be all you need for your setup.
If you need further help, let me know.
Btw. Tom''s setup and documentation is for Xen 3.0.x, due to the fact
that the pci_dom0_hide feature is not available yet.
With my setup you''ll need no special shorewall configuration at all,
because all the bridging stuff is done outside of the domU firewall.
Btw, my server is a Dual P3 500Mhz, 512MB Ram and works rock solid and
acceptable fast.
HTH,
Alex
