I''m sorry if this is off topic, I honestly don''t know what it means - but it looks firewall-ish, if you know what I mean. I have a boatload of warning messages like this: Jan 10 17:29:44 badlands kernel: Advised path = 68.236.208.138 -> 62.3.215.183, tos 00` in my logs. It seems to have started recently, but I''m not 100% sure - I may have just missed them. I''m running SuSE 9.3, kernel 2.6.11-4.21.9, Shorewall 3.02. Can someone tell me what it means and how I fix it? Go ahead and call me an idiot if it''s appropriate. Thanks. You can: a) Turn off martian logging. b) Run a kernel with CONFIG_IP_ROUTE_VERBOSE=No -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool Shoreline, \ http://shorewall.net Washington USA \ teastep@shorewall.net PGP Public Key \ https://lists.shorewall.net/teastep.pgp.key
