I´ve tried to use patch-o-matic with 2.6.14 some weeks ago.
If you are going through HOWTO Shorewall Firewall IPsec VPN and 2.6 kernel
you will get troubles with "cat *.diff | patch p 1"
I didn´t find any patches for 2.6.14. I´ve used the 2.6.12 or 2.6. ones as
offered from patch-o-matic.
I´ve copied the patches from the patch-o-matic dir, but later, after the
reboot, shorewall show capabilities didn´t give the available flag.
So I am still working with 2.6.12-r9 and hopefully wait for 2.6.16 to be
included.
What about 2.6.13 or 2.6.15? I don´t know? Maybe the patches work well.
I have tried everything on Gentoo Linux with shorewall 2.4.1 and 2.4.2
Cheers
Mike
