How would I set up the following configuration? Two connections to the internet from different companies. Both connection use DHCP so eth0 and eth1 ipaddress will change. I would like to get an email if one of the connections goes down. Web server and PC1 will use eth0 unless it is down. PC2 will use eth1 unless it is down. The issue of notification when one connection goes down has been addressed on this list several times -- check the archives (warning: the solution requires that you write some simple shell code). -Tom PS -- please configure your mailer to fold long lines at an appropriate width. -- Tom Eastep \ Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool Shoreline, \ http://shorewall.net Washington USA \ teastep@shorewall.net PGP Public Key \ https://lists.shorewall.net/teastep.pgp.key
