On a 5mb/768kb dsl link i run a P I 133 firewall with 3 network cards. Webmin isn''t the fastest on such a box, but it works and as for when it''s just moving packets: doesn''t break a sweat. Confine shorewall to only let your internal workstation talk to Webmin on your internal interface and it''s great! (i am moving to openBSD for my firewall, but shorewall will remain on the linux machines as it rocks). jb -- -----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.6 (GNU/Linux) mQGiBEHZaZQRBACLjBIqkeYitm6HIgKF7VcFSOSlit537FkecUzcoauv7RmuGQYl fLxKvVP/ggX5xM0EuSiZESpCGDKjJHbJ4yy/7O+GuNw6wAFm1u8gWXt/zapvkXtw 745IUhANTXYBVBO0RLCJwexK0JUelrxn5awM0O5LUa9J4FdSjeL5iOgF+wCguxk7 njf103MhtQ6XOIBYufChLOED/A3A6E1QcYMFRB86fW+HAzDqf+PqQxLOKX7Vf0y+ cOhiqlLhBEDGFZEn0F6YASSbXq3Rix7AZLcC2OhVwFGw92tlKE31GVK7wxuUcZ14 vH1SnYGmwbb9K1qjXpTMLD5y9ceecD4Y3bCG+ndiieR47RENjOF9eI9TA2bYtikA 0v4BA/47KH93SC2oVERRgWE8KfTaz8Eb8D9HWhCSyw8srk1pQ8Xl1s/MooaNaXac QvKYNNpQ5QrQSJ7i2GBNJr9Knr1MmuJf+csbilX+YQdeaWfl+TvgKPxPvUdISc+H 6zI7WAyhwGcaEemN8PnX3WcQhA1H6Hhld+eZpAUpfbE4xgEoIrRvSm9zaHVhIE0u IEJyb3duIChUaGlzIGlzIG15IHBlcnNvbmFsIGtleSBhbmQgc3VwZXJjZWRlcyBh bGwgcHJldmlvdXMgcGVyc29uYWwga2V5cy4pIDxtb3RoZXIub2YuZ29kc0BnbWFp bC5jb20+iF4EExECAB4FAkHZaZQCGwMGCwkIBwMCAxUCAwMWAgECHgECF4AACgkQ q+e5vCikD4HusgCgmQC8I3mgwh8xLOHvjzl9Ij6jPnAAnj2k/LxvbDKEfnVCuXUA 7/LBo1JDuQQNBEHZabgQEACXoeEs8n8VAJIUGKKY6+bs1I2QJaLMrnYh3kLZNbTr H8ur782eHgMQn3MNDNNXmRUnsZ95t7eBJdvGaaA4y6KLlXJ069tOgQiTDsoi1arv /NYuHu2DhLMvo/JHMaTU/RU7wnORsWB4C4nZBSZqFTHoVvoXqCQZ2PKiMqfWIv4C HXdFxvFD4/QMVNe36OK3zjE98p3zKjuvnOKrMAuAZBH9r33Msn5vB4hsdWK7NhFC xD4RQQOnU0xEHGhBmSOtdFfcRQHDybeljJYM7hJAj+mpKzTA9ZjeTlzTTS6C1znI sxVaUCLlxXWYNaswGWbqoVexVR0Zf8rNyPBD9R9tsKs4oEyO86ZqM0cCRxoPTeIx ObgmLs3u5+FL5hXRPkx0ojnshxevudtDX6uhn9ddu8K4BfzDAknyDchLwIhazETc h1xA5uw1wX5Q6tW70/nT+e5Mr6WGstecprBLZqaUiHjFD2KWb4G6W0fQAvjARXEf K1VVkeXFKWqb+DuMvsdMXpolWyh8gYSCnu6aQmhNCOr8HhvdvCiaYgHRR/2Uf225 DsoQiH/dJmXG85Q7s+mGiyP8yz+tqykqWwTC7RdUoqOPHCAq6aLuAW+0Qj1/XvY5 Cq9FRWnonFBdRvzkpvTyHOM+C1D9aaImqDMMCovHzUWT3W3JttCD2aiSBELfwJ9I 6wADBQ/9FsswMIMesghFjguFQI2vF6VJpgP1FmriEvP9xDDwlZTpseZ6Tzb96/RW 4+VJ3Bra5oMGKkShMPTFbUOz11zepVv1ljihqO6ZA5nnBQJIc3WI7rg8voFB5gGE d0u4De9BOvv3eSEKo+vHzh8B3IglWSSvvshRcEf5RppxaP18t054+ArcNxjG+lZR mkMFsz4Iz5Z/g38Q4cXZ9qfDs/U/nMJ40zqkCydPKlWmO95833DRDnsiTbda1nN3 1pKUBLUSHiFhe1L8glRUcV40fUXsle5M58L8+HHeH7bfp6rDTPZKgUzFsG73wwME kQICroqvevv4IMnqJcSLa+XQt5tFLUPxKyGsgnjeZaB5Joj8L7ON5dLcZ0Ih8T0o BHjupreNDtrAV4fxuiSrr1vvonSfCpycndcL9Jc0qY5O7055ZG4Et2lo6NVL7Okr //MzaeeObgzupVNjkdBZEAan3LkFZHFGUB/5GBvX+MWYVPv6jPA1n4X4T2H+GIyH qq4RoiDqXh4rgomcAbsBKfLUW5jUoyLvk1h9IyKncJ2BhS8p9moBDEBCJSTNUKLO 9nGYAwOvbHdNRprvpoUZP4UdfL1QNq9TqaZMWSRqw0HpiPa409xGoLfuDTCS4QZ+ iUdwTcnEi1+9VA89XFsIH+P7qA7Gy4hC0WJhTJcpAZq0hZo6hp+ISQQYEQIACQUC QdlpuAIbDAAKCRCr57m8KKQPgf8CAKC6x6oiYjwGG91AHUDr09sQ0eSb8ACfUvln bKiGBUs5kIuw8Z8HbgNSY5g=Wf9t -----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
Yep.webmin works nice with shorewall... but there is a litle problem..the module is ALWAYS outdated. (or maybe shorewall development is too fast ;) ) On Sat, 15 Jan 2005 09:06:02 -0800, Tom Eastep <teastep@shorewall.net> wrote:> Joshua Schmidlkofer wrote: > > Tom Eastep wrote: > > > >> Joshua Schmidlkofer wrote: > >> > >>> Tom, > >>> > >>> Here is the setup method w/ Bridging on Gentoo. > >>> > >> > >> Thanks, Joshua > >> > >> -Tom > > > > > > Off topic - Has anyone cooked up a good web front end?
