ThanksSorry, you question is too vague. Go to the shorewall web site and click on the link "Troubleshooting". If you still can''t locate your problem, then go back to the shorewall web site and click on "Support" to learn the guidelines for reporting problems. FWIW, there is no inherent problem sending between two systems (mail server or otherwise) when they are behind a firewall.... Sounds like you have a "bad" configuration. My scenario is that i have a mail server (A) with public ip forwarded to the A''s local ip, then i have another mail (B) with public ip forwarded to B''s local ip. I checked the faq (http://www.shorewall.net/FAQ.htm#faq2) which is somewhat related to my problem. I guess it can be solved via having a local dns but i dont have one, i am also using version 1.2x since im using debian/woody so the routeback isnt available. The problem is that when i send from mail A to mail B, i guess shorewall isnt able to forward from mail A''s public then forward to mail B. Do i have any option but to upgrade? Thanks for any suggestions.
