I need to assign certain hosts to a zone. I see how I can do that by IP address, but I am using DHCP, Is there a way to assign them by MAC Address?

If so the answer is yes but that has nothing to do with shorewall. Or are you asking if specific IPs can be included in a shorewall zone (while others are assigned a different zone)? -- John Andersen - NORCOM http://www.norcomsoftware.com/
