Hi all!
First of all, I just upgraded to shorewall-1.4.6c-2mdk.noarch.rpm from
1.4.5. System is a Mandrake 9.1, Kernel 2.4.21, iptables 1.2.7a
When restarting Shorewall, iptables complains:
> iptables v1.2.7a: Invalid ICMP type `8,13,15,17,19,30,33,35,37''
and Shorewall is terminating, of course.
The offending rule is:
#ACTION SOURCE DEST PROTO DEST SOURCE ORIGINAL#
PORT PORT(S) DEST
ACCEPT:info fw net icmp 8,13,15,17,19,30,33,35,37
Running 1.4.5 with iptables I had no problem. Did I miss an important
change in ICMP port handling?
Thanks for your attention,
Robert Kehl
