Shorewall users - Jun 2003 - 2nd NIC problems

I''m using the current shorewall version.  Installed a 2nd NIC in case
we
decide to go DSL.  I configured the interface as:

#ZONE	 INTERFACE	BROADCAST	OPTIONS
net	ppp0	-
loc	eth0	detect
net	eth1	

After doing so, nothing went anywhere, couldn''t use dialup (got that
back at
4:30 this morning), etc.  Now I can''t say this is a shorewall problem
since I
am seeing some problems with the eth1 interface.  I get the interface up, but 
it won''t come up when I reboot the machine.  If anyone sees an obvious
error
or can pont me to something I missed in the docs, help is appreciated.

If you aren''t currently using the interface, you can just not define it
to
Shorewall at all.
