Shorewall users - May 2003 - impossible upload with aironet

Hi

I use Leaf bering with an aironet 350 pci card, as a
firewall router.
I do a
cat /proc/driver/aironet/eth0/Status

I get
Signal Strength: 45
Signal Quality: 90
which translate to about -60dbm

at one end, and I get -75dbm at the other

I have a feeling that the reason all my uploads stop
right after 8192 bytes is because of the poor wireless
connection.

Can you confirm this?
What are the minimum received Signal Strength
requirement?
Could something else cause this?
Note, I do not have the same problem from a third
ethernet on the router.
