Today I upgraded my server to RH9.0. For some unexplained reason, while I
was applying updates from RedHat the server crashed and now my RPM database
is toast ("rpm -q glibc" says that glibc isn''t installed and
rpm -qa
generates 100''s of error messages; this is after an ''rpm
--rebuilddb'').
Tomorrow morning, I will be backing up my server and reinstalling the OS --
the following systems will be down indefinitely:
lists.shorewall.net
mail.shorewall.net
www1.shorewall.net
ftp1.shorewall.net
