Getting late as a guess. You are right, they are handled as different interfaces
which means there is nothing special to look for and as I don''t want to
keep the tags when sending out the must be nothing wild to configure.

Each VLAN is just treated like an interface in Shorewall -- or is there
something more that you are looking for?
