[Shorewall-users] New User - How does Shorewall work?
Forgive me if I''m new to Shorewall, but is Shorewall a wrapper around IPtables and other net-related facilities of Linux? I''m accustomed to setting up IPtables by hand, so I''m guessing if I were to start using Shorewall, I would blow away anything I''ve been doing up til now. Do I have it right? Shorewall rules are ultimately reduced and implemented as IPtables instructions? --j
