Subject: [Shorewall-users] Problem during startup...
Howdy,
Here''s the situation. I am on a dialup, with an ethernet
connection to my home LAN. Whenever I reboot, shorewall starts up after
the ppp0 interface has been started and everything seems well. I can
SSH into the server from my other machines and the firewall machine can
access the internet without any problems. My internal machines can not
access the internet worth anything ;) I can stop and restart shroewall
and it will still not work. So, I used my old iptables script to first
stop the firewall (clear out all iptables stuff), then used my
iptables-start script and then my machines can access the internet
without any trouble. I can then tell shorewall to restart and it will
work fine. I guess shorewall isn''t clearing out something, but that is
the only way I can make it work is by using my old iptables script then
restarting shorewall. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jason
