[Shorewall-users] Error messages issued during 1.3.11 install.
Hi. During an upgraded of shorewall 1.3.10 to 1.3.11 on SuSE 8.1 the=20 following messages are issued at least 20 times. =20 user teastep does not exist - using root group teastep does not exist - using root I used ''rpm -Fvh'' command to upgrade shorewall. As far as I can tell shorewall is functioning correctly. I have examined the rpm package and found the documentation directory has a=20 uid & gid of 500 where it was 0 (root) in previous releases. Have I missed something or is this a bug in the rpm package? Regards Steven.

Should be harmless -- the rpm on my site and the other mirrors has been corrected but I''m not going to replace the one on Sourceforge. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Shorewall - iptables made easy AIM: tmeastep \ http://shorewall.sf.net ICQ: #60745924 \ teastep@shorewall.net
