[Shorewall-users] RE: Redhat 8.0 IpTables Logwatch
Remco, You might want to get the latest distro of logwatch from www.logwatch.org (Redhat is like one full version behind here ... its much more iptables centric .. sample output from the stock logwatch kernel module From 12.221.72.221 (12.221.72.221). To 12.159.172.162 (12.159.172.162). Service: http (tcp/80) (Shorewall:net2all:DROP:,eth0,none) - 2 packet(s) Total of 2 packet(s). Total of 2 packet(s). Regards, Francesca C. Smith Lady Linux Internet Services. Baltimore, Md 21217
Thanks, that is indeed the solution, it works like a charm now! Altough I must admit that I liked the output from the old version that is included by RedHat better. It is much easier to read. But the new output is much better than no output :) Thanks everybody for the tips!
