Here is the article I posted on several newsgroups (before I found
this mailing list), but didn''t get the answer yet. :(
-----------------------------------
I have a problem with publishing a web server with shorewall.
I have:
eth0, IP:192.168.100.1, NM:255.255.255.0
eth1, IP:207.46.230.1, NM:255.255.255.0
web server IP: 192.168.100.2
I want to make web server visible at IP 207.46.230.1.
/etc/shorewall/rules:
DNAT:info e1 e0:192.168.100.2 tcp 80 - 207.46.230.1
/etc/shorewall/masq
eth0 0.0.0.0/0
e0 is a zone associated with eth0, e1 is a zone associated with eth1
I can see a web server published at 207.46.230.1 form all PC-s
on 207.46.230.x subnet, but I can''t see it from the rest of teh
internet.
What might be a problem?
------------------------------------------------
Additional info:
-I can telnet 207.46.230.1 (when I enable it) from anywhere
-I can ping 207.46.230.1 from anywhere
-I can traceroute 207.46.230.1 anywhere
-I have Shorewall 1.3.5
-I have Debain 3.0
-I have kernel 2.4.18 (I have recompiled it and included all modules
I think I must include :))
