Shorewall users - Aug 2002 - vlans in shorewall...

hi group.
    First; Thank you Tom for your help this morning.

    Now. I have got Bering_1.0-rc3 to work properly between two cisco 
vlans on a 2924XL switch. And Now it''s time to get shorewall working.

My question::: Does shorewall mind that the interfaces are "eth0.N"???
If it does is there an easy fix. I haven''t seen any way to make the 
vconfig program call the interface anything else.

Shorewall doesn''t care and from this experiment, it looks like iptables
doesn''t either:

[root@gateway root]# iptables -N foo
[root@gateway root]# iptables -A foo -i eth0.1 -j ACCEPT
[root@gateway root]#

I tried the above on both iptables 1.2.5 and 1.2.6a.
