Shorewall doesn''t care and from this experiment, it looks like iptables
doesn''t either:
[root@gateway root]# iptables -N foo
[root@gateway root]# iptables -A foo -i eth0.1 -j ACCEPT
[root@gateway root]#
I tried the above on both iptables 1.2.5 and 1.2.6a.
