Currently I am using a Freeswan VPN-server using Freeswan-1.92/kernel 2.4.17, firewalled with Shorewall (keep up the good work !!!). However I do have a question about the entries in the route table regarding ipsec0 and I think it could have been asked before :)) When a connection goes down these entries are not deleted automatically. Does anyone know whether this could become a security problem, or isn''t it possibe to a hacker to take advantage of this "half open" connection?? At this moment I don''t see any other solution to this than deleting the routes manually or even restarting Freeswan. Thanks for your help
