Probably means that packets are being dropped on the floor. Check the driver=20
source; there''s probably an option to adjust for this (there is in
the=20
eepro100 driver).

Makes perfect sense that the internal interface would see the problem and not=20
the external one (unless you have a T3 internet connection).
