RC 1 is now available for testing.
It corrects a number of problems with Beta5 in the two -lite packages
and in Shorewall-init.
There are still a couple of known problems:
- A spurious ''2''appears as the first character if the
ifupdown.sh
script, as reported by Tuomo.
- There is an obscure feature of ''load'' and
''reload'' that if a script
named ''save'' exists in the remote firewall''s
configuration directory,
then that file is copied to the remote system. The copy command is
currently specifying /etc/shorewall[6]-lite/ as the destination.
There are patches in GIT for both of these issues.
Thank you for testing,
-Tom
