Hi Tom, fresh install of shorewall causes shorewall not to be activated in runlevels, while shorewall6 is getting activatetd. He used SuSE studio to build an appliance and when the appliance booted, Shorewall did not start whereas Shorewall6 did. We have both verified that Shorewall starts at boot when the RPM is installed with the ''-i'' option. This is the traditional behavior (see Shorewall FAQ 43). -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather who Shoreline, \ died peacefully in his sleep. Those that are in files processed by the shell (*.conf, params) should have the lines retained because the shell''s ''.'' builtin ignores the last line of a file if it is not newline-terminated. The #LAST LINE thingies insure that the last meaningful line is newline-terminated. I hacked up your patches and have applied them to my tree. Hello, I am trying to install on my Linux the last 4.2 stable release. When I have executed ./install.sh on the compiler (shorewall-perl) I have got the error "install: invalid group root". Why is the reason of this error ? Where is the documentation of the installation ? I have found some instructions but all of them tells me to use ./install.sh to install compiler and core. Thank you! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
