Hello,
I am using the traffic shappin features of shorewall for sometime now,
and I noticed an inconsistency in shorewall 4.0.5
The following rule:
#MARK SOURCE DEST PROTO PORT(S) CLIENT USER TEST
5 $FW 0.0.0.0/0 all
- - p2p
produces this entry in the mangle table, when the SHELL compiler is used:
Chain tcout (1 references)
21M 4896M MARK all -- * * 0.0.0.0/0
0.0.0.0/0 OWNER UID match 102 MARK set 0x5
But when the PERL compiler is used, this is the result:
Chain tcout (1 references)
126 23125 MARK all -- * * 0.0.0.0/0
0.0.0.0/0 MARK set 0x5
You can clearly see that the "OWNER UID match 102" part is missing
from
the generated rule.
