imap indexing error when moving multiple mails
Hi, I've got an 'interesting' problem with a dovecot 0.99.10.4 setup on NetBSD/i386 1.6ZK. dovecot is serving imap only at the moment, using mbox format mailboxes. '/etc/dovecot.conf' is pretty vanilla - among the modified settings, mail_read_mmaped = yes maildir_check_content_changes = yes mbox_lock = fcntl could be relevant. Anyway - from time to time when I move a

Unbalanced parentheses printed by warnings() crash text editor
...macs devel list, but ESS & Xemacs' attempt to find balanced parentheses accross many lines seems sensible, and is needed with very long functions. A workaround would be to change the function that print warnings. Instead of, for instance, "error message xxxxxxxxxx in: function.yyyyyy(zzzzzzzzz, zzzzzzz, ..." It may print "error message xxxxxxxxxx in: function.yyyyyy(zzzzzzzzz, zzzzzzz, ...)" The function should truncate the error message, find how many parenthesis and brackets are open in the remaining part, substract the number of closing parenthesis and brackets, a...

No IN and OUT on ISDN line at the same time?
...work, but Asterisk tells me, that there is no channel available. There is no one else using this line, so guess I made a mistake in the configuration or it might not work for another reason. Here's the CLI output , the capi.conf and extensions.conf. 83086921 is the number that I have dialed and zzzzzzz is the number of my mobile phone. I even tried to setup up [ISDN2] and setting devices=1, too, but it didn't change anything. *CLI> == ISDN1: Incoming call 'xxxxxxxxxx' -> '83086921' -- Executing Dial("CAPI/ISDN1/83086921-0", "CAPI/ISDN1/zzzzzzzz|20|t...

Performance (cough cough) Poor: Instant Rails
Hi, In short, RoR is brand spanking new to me, I set up Instant Rails (if you can call copying files "setup") and made my own simple app via scaffold. One table, 11 cols, 100 rows. All is well, except when I view the data, it takes 5-10 seconds to show the page, 5-10 more seconds to get the edit page and so on. Going back to the previous page is no faster (via previous link).

Results of 13 month study on reducing telemarketing calls
...selections, mind change, etc. all serve as possible reasons. Total number of incoming calls that hung up in the start menus: 837, which is about 10% of the total CDR's in my database, a rather high number, one would think. Of the 837, I found these to be interesting: homeline (""zzzzzzz college""): 13 homeline (""CAPITOL US ""): 1 homeline (""CPI ""): 1 homeline (""CREDIT FOUNDATI""): 1 homeline (""EI ""): 23 homeline (""MICROSTAR SOFTW&quot...

duqu
There's an article on slashdot about the Duqu team wiping all their intermediary c&c servers on 20 Oct. Interestingly, the report says that they were all (?) not only linux, but CentOS. There's a suggestion of a zero-day exploit in openssh-4.3, but both the original article, and Kaspersky labs (who have a *very* interesting post of the story) consider that highly unlikely, and the
