Knowing zap channel status
I'm trying to write a zap monitor program to visually display the status
of each channel. It's working well -:
However, one thing that I am still struggling with is knowing the status
of the zap channels when the program starts.
Zap show channels only seems to show an extension on an inbound call. I
don't know which channels are in use for outbound calls.
Anyone got an

Analog FXO status checking
Hi all,
I would like to make a script/program that would be able to show lots of
status information from my analog FXO lines (and FXS lines in the near
future).
Example of interesting status information:
- Hook status: is there a call being made with that zap?
- Voltage status: cable connected, voltage values (if possible), line
ringing?
- RX/TX Volume status

I modified zaptel.c to dump out the coefficients on ztdiag (just a
#define, removing a few comments, and updating some out-of-date code). I
then started a call and dumped them out every few seconds. They change
wildly, but a large change of the figures may have very little change in
the actual system behaviour of the ec, so I guess that doesn't tell me...
