Macmillan dictionary (gold App) fails first run

- I Installed the patch (puwiz.exe) from
http://www.macmillandictionaries.com/aboutcdfaq.htm
When I run med2.exe I get "Unhandled page fault on read access"
I can't read the debugger's output to get further.
Would you give a hint how to get this work?
